We had a Visitor

Last night and this morning we had the same moose come and visit.  This first picture if from this morning.  You can't really tell but the moose has a metal cone / ring thing used to help plant grow straight stuck on its head.  This was the second one that got stuck, both eventually came off.  Moses loved seeing the moose and kept pretending to shoot the moose dead.

I love Alaska and the community I live in!  God has blessed me more than I deserve.

Winter Begins

Winter is coming down the mountains.  I spent the weekend getting ready.

Getting the snowblower out.

Taking down the trampoline.

Covering the well-house area, and putting the outdoor toys away.

And starting fires again!

This is going to be one long hard winter.  But by the grace of God our little family will make it through!
